The graduate student exchange program 2-3 students from College of Fishery at OUC (0-1 year Master and Ph.D students) To do graduate study at University of Maryland (Ph.D students, 5-6 years), receiving degree from University of Maryland. The students are responsible for their living expenses ($20,000/yr) – Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) or fellowship from OUC. University of Maryland covers the tuition ($25,00/yr) and medical insurance ($4000/yr).

Selection process Students express their interests and get permission from your supervisors Prepare GRE and TOEFL exams, starting NOW Inform your interest to Prof. Li Jing-Yu by October 10, 2017 Initial review by a committee in October 20, 2017 (Dean Li Qi, Prof. Li and Dr. Du) Identify 3-4 students, contact PIs at University of Maryland with the help of Dr. Du. Take the GRE and TOEFL exams by Dec. 2017-Jan. 2018
