Welcome to Curriculum Night @ Jing Mei Elementary School September 20, 2016 Agenda 7:10 PTSA 7:15 BSF 7:20 Curriculum Overview

PTSA Jing Mei Annual Giving

Jing Mei Annual Giving (JAG) JAG, is the PTSA’s primary annual fundraiser. Our goal this year is $60,000. Asking for a donation of $300 per student Donations larger or smaller are always appreciated

Why do we fundraise? Limited public school funds PTSAs across the Bellevue school district raise funds to cover the gap in funding. Parents prioritized Instructional Assistants(IAs) and Curriculum Enhancements for PTSA spending. If we as parents don’t invest in our children, no one else will.

BMDL PTSA organizes, manages and/or pays for the following: 2 Instructional Assistants Field trips & Assemblies Classroom experiences Author visits Science Fair and STEM night Mid-Autumn Festival & Chinese New Year Afterschool Enrichment Classes Field Day, Book Fairs, Picture Day & Yearbook And many, many more programs, resources and activities that directly benefit your child.

When and how should I give? Please give NOW! JAG starts today. By check – write a check tonight or drop off your check into the PTSA drop box in the school office. By credit card - we will have PayPal readers available tonight. Online –at www.bmdl-ptsa.org with your credit card. Don’t forget about Employer Matching to double or triple your donation.
