Transforming our World The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals

Should goal setting focus on aiming high & reaching for the stars Should goal setting focus on aiming high & reaching for the stars? Or, should it be practical and attainable?

Project objectives Focus Questions How do the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) act as a framework for approaching current global challenges? What opportunities do the SDGs present for the individual? For Canada? And for the global community? Are the SDGs realistic or aspirational? Should they be realistic or aspirational? To understand what the SDGs are and how/why they evolved out of the Millennium Development Goals To understand the SDGs are connected To research opportunities for agency for the individual, for Canada and for global community To create a Pecha kucha style presentation, and participate in a critical friend peer support group.
