[known as the Egyptian pharaoh] Tutankhamun [known as the Egyptian pharaoh]

Where and when was he born? .............................. Born: 1341BC Where: Ancient Egypt Family: Mother ,the younger lady Father,Aketehen Tomb mask

What age was Tutankamun when he became a pharaoh?.............. He became a pharaoh at age 19, around 1324 B.C

Why was he so famous?..... The reason that Tutankhamun is so well known today is that his tomb, containing fabulous treasures, was found early this century (1922) by British archaeologists Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon. The tomb of Egypt's boy-king Tutankhamun was discovered on November 4, 1922 by English archaeologist Howard Carter.

When was tutankhamun’s tomb discoverd and who found the tomb. The tomb of Egypt's boy-king Tutankhamun was discovered on November 4, 1922 by English archaeologist Howard Carter. Howard Carter was born in 1874 in Norfolk, England. His father named Samuel Carter was an artist who taught Howard Carter the fundamentals of drawing and painting.

What did Howard Carter find in the tomb?... The small tomb contained hundreds of objects (now housed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo), many richly decorated and covered in gold, that would be needed by the king in his afterlife

Why is he still important to us ?..... Though he was of little importance as a ruler, "King Tut" became the most famous of the Pharaohs thirty-two centuries after his death, when his mummified body and treasure stuffed tomb were discovered by archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922.
