Letter To The Church Imagine if the Lord were to send us a letter today at Lake Forest What might that letter say? Thinking about this, there are certainly some things that we can learn from the letters sent forth in Revelation 2 & 3

Church at Ephesus The first thing we learn is that Christ knows our works and our labor Everything they did that was worthy of praise, Christ recognized However, there was one thing that was a negative for Ephesus

Church at Pergamos This wasn’t everyone, but seemingly a certain segment of the congregation This tells us that it matters what we believe Do we believe God’s word, or the teachings of man on any given subject?

Church at Pergamos This is why we need to study the word of God diligently We will be held responsible for what we believe We cannot allow ourselves to be fooled by the teachings of a man, therefore we we need to be like the Bereans (Acts 17)
