Julia Horgan 1909/2002
Facts She is my great grandmother. She lived in Horsemount, Kilcorney in a remote place.
What she did in the Civil War Her father told her family to leave the old IRA eat their dinners, as they were starving. The old IRA knew her family were on their side. One day during the civil war, her family were hiding the old IRA soldiers in their house when they saw the Irish Free State soldiers coming up to the house so Julia strolled down to them and had a chat with them while the old IRA escaped out the back and ran up the mountain.
Facts about her family She got married to Denis Duggan They had seven children Her parents were Daniel Horgan and Catherine Flavin.
