ROME Ava and Bryce.

Baths Women and men could Not take a bath together. It took a long time to wash themselves. It took many steps.

HOUSES People lived in the country because it had more space, more beautiful grass, and fresh air. They have holes in their roofs. Rich people lived in villas in the country or houses in city.

FOOD Bread was the daily food. They only got a little bit of meat. The rich ate fruits like grapes, apples, figs, and they ate peacock tongues.

ENTERTAINMENT They liked to watch gladiators fight. The emperor would decide if the last gladiator would live The emperor would sometimes let the crowd decide if the last gladiator would live.

PETS They had dogs. They had cats too. They also had horses and ponies and birds, lions and bobcats.
