California Department of Aging Mobility Management Workgroup Webinar “Bringing Transportation Solutions to Life in Local Communities”

Presented by Chris Jensen, Advocate/Community Organizer for Resources for Independent Living Resources for Independent Living promotes the socio-economic independence of persons with disabilities by providing peer supported, consumer directed independent living services and advocacy www.ril-sacramento.org

RIL has been providing services and advocacy in Sacramento and Yolo counties since 1978. Things I do: facilitate a local consumer advocacy group called DOGFITE, which stands for Disability Organizing Group for Initiating Total Equality. We currently have about 30 members member of the Sacramento County, Disability Advisory Commission, and Chair the Subcommittee on Housing current Chair of Sacramento Regional Transit’s Mobility Advisory Council member Transportation Equity Workgroup, for the Coalition on Regional Equity (a project of the Sacramento Housing Alliance)
