Designers zone DAPEE model: It has five major steps: Define the project Analyze the problem Plan the solution Executing the plan Evaluate the result The project: to make a place that provide the basic stuff and tools for interior design students and to make a copy centre for graphic requirements and design projects. Goals:1- To facilitate the printing process for the design students. 2-to provide an easy way to get the tools and stuff needed for design students.

Analyze the problem Threats strengths S.W.O.T analysis Weaknesses Opportunities Threats strengths 1- no competitors at PMU 2- students needs that place a lot 3- the location, because it is near the student and it’s easy to reach 4- profitable project and it can improved 1-Needs a large capital for equipments and tools 2-No proper space for it at PMU 3-Limited customers 4-The location is far and it can serve only PMU students 1-High rental fees 2-High salaries for the workers 3-High prices of tools and equipments 4-Expensive programs and software 1-Expand and improve the project 2-To be the main source for PMU students 3-Heir professional people in graphic programs 4-Establish new ideas

Planning the solution Tasks : Arwa: will be the most appropriate as a leader. After assigning the team leader, each group member must be assigned a particular task Norah: who has strong mathematical abilities, should be in charge of the financial issues such as the cost of ink, printers, papers, markers, notebooks, etc. Salwa :who knows many high-level interior design students, will be in charge of bringing in new ideas into the business and making sure that the needs and desires of interior design students will be fulfilled. Hanaan, whose uncle owns a bookstore in Dammam, will be in charge of acquiring eligible workers and supplies, and making sure the supplies are of good quality. Amal will be in charge of creating the written documents, contracts and paper work as well as advertising.

Our plan For project: 1) is to start our business and make Interior design student easily to get their stuff from our bookstore project within six months which is the beginning of spring Semester 2014. 2) set a backup plan in case if we face some challenges or issues after one year of work with less profit of what we want to achieve it.

Plan table: Remarks Completed Deadline Tasks Name Aug-20-2013 Financial issues charge of the Norah & Arwa Sep– 3-1013 Set up budget Feb-1-2014 Generate the profit and revenue Dec-12-2013 Employment Dec-7-2013 Bring workers Hanan & Arwa Dec-18-2013 Staff uniform Aug-22-2013 Supplies & equipment Dec-13-2013 Worker transportations Dec-1-2013 Advertisements Salwa & Arwa Sep-18-2013 Charge of development Aug-29-2013 Record the needs of interior design students Aug-15-2013 PMU license Amal & Arwa Oct-13-2013 Business procedures Sep-10-2013 Submit the requirements Oct-8-2013 Signing contracts Jan-1-2014 The preparations for grand opening

Executing the Plan For the first two months, regular meetings will be scheduled three times per week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays For the next three months, meetings will be held on each Thursday. From the fourth to the sixth month, meetings will be held once in three weeks on Sundays. After the sixth month onwards, one meeting each month must be held in order to briefly discuss the successes, weaknesses and strengths of the business on Sundays.

In each meeting, each group member must be confident in presenting his/her successes and failures, and should be obliged to present new information at a regular basis. Emergent situations that may arise that need immediate discussions could be discussed over social networking applications such as WhatsApp (our first priority). Public announcements and advertising will be displayed over Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Evaluating the results There are some small issues that may face the project. Like, Norah when she has class at university and meeting for project at the same time. How she follows others by the uses of communication ways. The hard job that Arwa has with controlling members and keep their working go in order. What is the right thing that can Arwa dealing with it when she faces a problem such as Norah’s to keep the team cohesiveness? The project gives them the power and enough experience to get a better working in future.

Summary At the end as we said our group is want to help designer students in their major this proposal is showed the project and the problem and defined them, Described a SWOT analysis, work plan diagram showing tasks and deadlines in Planning the Solution, Executing the Plan and finally Evaluating the Results.
