There are 4 gas planets, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune. The Gas Planets 5 tips for a simpler way to work There are 4 gas planets, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune.

Saturn Saturn is a Gas planet. It has rings around it that are made from dust, rock and ice. Saturn is 764 times the size of Earth and has 62 moons, 53 of which, are officially named. Titan, Saturn’s largest moon and second largest moon in the Solar System is larger than the planet Mercury.

Jupiter Jupiter is the largest planet in the Solar System. It is about 1300 times the size of Earth. Jupiter has 67 moons. Jupiter radiates more heat than it receives from the Sun, this process causes Jupiter to shrink 2 cm per year. When it was first formed, Jupiter was much hotter and was twice its current diameter.

Uranus Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun. Wind speeds on Uranus, can reach up to 900 km per hour. Uranus is 63 times the size of Earth. It takes 84.3 Earth years for Uranus to orbit the Sun. Uranus is the coldest planet in the Solar System, it can be -224 degrees there. Uranus was the first planet discovered with a telescope.

Neptune Neptune is the eighth and farthest known planet in the Solar System. Neptune is 17 times the size of Earth. Neptune has 14 moons. The wind speeds on Neptune can reach up to 2,100 km per hour. It takes 164.79 Earth years for Neptune to orbit the Sun. It is usually about -218 degrees on Neptune.
