Fundraising Parent Meeting

Many hands make light work

What are we fundraising for? This totals $131,500 for the group and $1800 for each individual IF we meet all of our goals. Personal Fees $825+ Tour New Uniforms: $350 each $70,000 Lower cost for 2018 Rose Parade Tour Currently $1359 per student To get below $1000 per student would be $60,000 Food for Competitions Goal of $1500

Do YOU know of a company we should contact? Corporate Sponsors We are looking for corporate sponsors to offset costs. In particular we are looking for a sponsor who is interested in a multi-year relationship with the band in exchange for a sponsorship to cover the full amount of our new uniforms. This sponsor would have the option to place a patch with their logo on the shoulder of our new uniforms . This patch would remain there for the life of the uniform. The full cost of the uniforms is $70,000. We are also seeking corporate sponsors to offset partial or other costs. Any amount is always welcome. Do YOU know of a company we should contact? Target: $70,000 to cover the cost of uniforms. Additional donations would be used to lower the cost of the tour for all students.

Westlake Banner Sponsorship Program Uniform fundraiser First Sponsorship goes to Uniforms Any additional sponsorships go to the individual. Target: $70,000 (one sponsor per student) (If a uniform sponsor is found, funds raised will be used to lower the cost of the Rose Parade tour for all students.)

Clothing Drive and Pancake Breakfast Target for Funds Raised: $20,000 Benefits: Uniforms if needed, otherwise, funds will be used to lower costs across the board for 2018 Rose Parade Tour. Target for Funds Raised: $1,500 Benefits: Food for the Band for the Competition Season. If more is raised than planned, additional funds will be added to Clothing Drive Funds

Postcard Fundraiser Target: $825 +Tour Fees Benefits: Your Individual Fees Each student will be provided an electronic copy of the postcard in two formats: Each side as a separate image so they can be printed by the student and mailed. Both images on the same page to be used for electronic transmission and sharing on social media. Students send this card, personalized, to friends and family. This is a “small donations” fundraiser. This idea came from a Band that made $300,000 on this fundraiser! We chose to pass this on to the students since it is their own friends and family that they will be contacting!

Service fundraisers Battle of the Bands Coming in August In keeping with the 2018 Rose Parade theme “Making a Difference” We will do fundraisers with a service based theme Funds raised will go towards lowering the cost of the Rose Parade Tour Anticipated for mid to late May and June. Target: $20,000 Coming in August We will need help selling tickets and organizing. Funds raised will go towards lowering the cost of the Rose Parade Tour Target: $20,000
