Snack Time! Please send a healthy, easy-to-open snack with your child every Monday through Thursday (pretzels, crackers, fruit, etc.). Feel free to send a drink, but we also have a water fountain as an alternative. On Fridays, we will celebrate with a “letter of the week” snack for the whole class from the “Star of the Week!”

School Clothes Play clothes and sneakers are the best for school! Flip flops are not allowed on the mulch and we often play on the small playground.

Birthdays Please let me know a few days in advance if you would like to send a treat to avoid scheduling conflicts, allergies, etc. We love to celebrate! Please only send party invitations to be handed out if everyone in the class is invited. *A class address/phone list will be coming home soon!

Conferences Parent teacher conferences are scheduled in the fall and as needed. Communication is on- going. jmaddon@qcsd.org 215-529-2487 *During the school day, you will be asked to leave a voicemail and I will return your call after students are dismissed.

Parent Volunteers District policy requires that classroom volunteers sign a Liability and Indemnity Contract Form. To be a chaperone on our field trip in the spring, you will also need to obtain Act 34 (State Criminal Record) and Act 151 (Child Abuse) clearances. These take some time to process, so please consider starting now! Follow this link for full instructions: Parent volunteer and clearance forms

First Day of School Please have your child wear his/her bus card for the first two weeks of school as we all get to know each other and our transportation routines. First day homework: Bring your favorite stuffed animal to school!
