The Eastern Plateau Follows on from the previous programme East Herts ran from 2009 -2013 EU funded programme – Brexit?

The Eastern Plateau-aims To create jobs and support growth in farms, rural businesses & community groups located within the Eastern Plateau area

The Eastern Plateau–area The rural areas of East Herts North Herts, Uttlesford and Epping Forest

The Eastern Plateau-the funding Budget for Projects €1.8m (£1.5m) Support for Capital rather than Revenue expenditure To qualify for funding the applicant must demonstrate that is for new expenditure within the business, not replacement or business as usual Same application process across all English Local Action Groups (LAG’s)

The Eastern Plateau-about us East Herts Council acts as the Accountable Body (delivers the programme on behalf of the RPA) Continuity of experienced team (involved in running previous programme 2007-2013) Contribution towards running costs from 4 Local Authorities Decisions by Eastern Plateau LAG – representatives from public and private sector

Priorities Farm Productivity Support for Small & Micro Enterprises including farm diversification Rural Tourism Culture & Heritage Rural Services Forestry Productivity

Projects supported this year Grants for forestry sector towards charcoal production, woodfuel Towards construction costs of new multi use community pavilion, new culture & Heritage facility Start up and business development – equipment BUT not IT or marketing 10 projects supported We will support applicants through the application process!
