Certification/Maintenance Workshop Continued Airworthiness Initiatives Streamlined AD process (MCAI)—reduces issuance time to 6-12 months & simplifies process and content of AD. AD-Friendly Service Bulletins—reduces paperwork & provides accurate & complete information on corrective actions. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness—Order due out end of year; distribution of security-related ADs to be addressed.

Certification/Maintenance Workshop Electronic Exchange of Airworthiness Documents Industry-developed initiative with wide participation Data-centric approach for one e-Form to follow parts during life cycle.
