Focaccia Focaccia is related to pizza, but not thought to be the same. Focaccia is quite popular in Italy and is usually seasoned with olive oil and sometimes herbs, and may be topped with onion, cheese and meat, or flavoured with a number of vegetables. Focaccia is typically baked dough topped with olive oil and a simple herb like rosemary or sage, and salted lightly. It is very popular as a snack in Italy and school children will often purchase a slice from a baker on the way to school, to enjoy at break time.

Torrone Torrone is a nougat confection, typically made of sugar, and with honey toasted nuts, and usually shaped into either a rectangular tablet or a round cake. These days it is mostly eaten as a dessert for Christmas in Spain.

Prosecco Prosecco is an Italian wind generally a dry sparkling wine made from a variety of white grape of the same name. The grape is grown mainly in the Veneto region of Italy, traditionally in an area near Conegliano and Valdobbiadene , in the hills north of Treviso.
