Learning Intentions Success Criteria We are learning to… develop habits that will help us to be more effective human beings analyze how paradigms can have both a positive and negative effect on our mindsets understand what the Personal Bank Account is and analyze the effects of both deposits and withdrawals We’ll know we’re successful when we can… reflect on last class individually, in pairs, and in a large group create a T-chart to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different types of paradigms & ways of thinking read, discuss, and create a list of relevant “deposits” we can make

The Personal Bank Account Group task: Read your assigned section. Be able to summarize the type of deposit. Create a list of seven or more of these specific deposits that connect to your lives. PBA Deposits PBA Withdrawals 1 - Keep promises to yourself. Break personal promises. 2 - Do small acts of kindness. Keep to yourself. 3 - Be gentle with yourself. Beat yourself up. 4 – Be honest. Be dishonest. 5 - Renew yourself. Wear yourself out. 6 - Tap into your talents. Neglect your talents.

Homework: Read “Habit 1 Be Proactive” (pages 48-72) Record your interactions with the text on your graphic organizer.
