Employers need employees who possess skills Who can work productively in teams Who can communicate effectively Who can think innovatively Who can solve problems creatively

Workplace Safety Basic concepts Personal protective equipment (PPE) Habits 5 – S (LEAN) Industry specific practices

Personal appearance Dress for the environment – address industry specific standards Personal grooming and hygiene

Becoming a contributing team member Understanding no one works in isolation. Basic people skills Show up and be ready to work. Do standard work per employer rules and expectations. Sample Program Structure Four-week program 96 contact hours 6 hours per day (30-minute lunch) Registration - $812 Books / Materials - $100 Friday (optional) Job Shadow / Internship Subject to Employer (hours, duties, rules) Graded – based on workplace standards
