Supporting your child with maths March 2017

Homework! Homework is always based on what your child has already learnt in school and shouldn’t be new to them. Our calculation policies, showing how we teach the four rules – addition, subtraction, multiplication and division - are available on the school website.

Strategies in school (and at home) Equipment, equipment, equipment! Visual resources – number squares, number lines – all available in the back of the Home-School Diary Practising number bonds and times tables
