Love for one another 1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

Root for good accountability Phil 3:8-13 in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith, that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.

Shame A painful feeling of humiliation or distress caused by the consciousness of wrong or foolish behavior Sin/Struggle – Shame – Accusation/Guilt – Refrain from talking – Bondage

All in the same boat Rom 3:10 None is righteous, no, not one. Rom 3:12 no one does good, not even one Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

God not ashamed of us Heb 2:11 For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers,

Our more common struggles Sexual issues (Porn, Sexually Active, Thoughts on homosexuality) Eating disorders Depression Addictions “I’m not good enough” Relational issues

Overcomming your struggles Gal 5:1 For freedom Christ has set us free Is 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to… proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.

Overcomming your struggles 1John 1:7-9 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Overcomming your struggles Gal 6:1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.

What church should be!! Eph 4:13, 15-16 the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ…Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love..
