Implementing natures of animals breeding ANIMAL BREEDING The Standard of Competency : Implementing principles of plant & animal genetics Basic Competency : Implementing natures of animals breeding

Objectives: The student are able to explain the nature of animal breeding. Pemuliaan Hewan

ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION TECHNIQUES Artificial insemination is the placement process of sperm into vagina. This techniques is usually used to cows both dairy cows and beef cattle, any other livestocks. The first process is collecting sperm done when mild temperature and away from sunray exposure. Pemuliaan Hewan

Inseminator put in gun ends to vagina until cervix, then spray sperm. Inseminator put in his left hand to rectum to make sure his hand rach inside part of cervix Inseminator put in gun ends to vagina until cervix, then spray sperm. Detecting pregnancy every 3 months with rectal palpation. Pemuliaan Hewan

HIBRIDITION It is an activities to combine diverse genetics through breeding between individual known its nature and the same individuals. Kind of Hibridition: 1. Purebreeding 2. Inbreeding 3. Crossbreeding 4. Upbreeding Pemuliaan Hewan
