CASTELLERS The castellers make own human constructions of the Catalan culture. The “castellers” groups are formed by different ages people.

BASTONERS The dance of “Bastons” is considered heir of the old warlike dances of swords and of other weapons. It has been and it is very extended in all Catalonia, and it is without doubt the oldest dance of them that still they are danced.

CAPGROSSOS In Catalunya, land of giants, also we find important bequeathed of big head dwaves, who from time very distant have appeared next to the Giants.

LA SARDANA Communal dance intimately bound up with Catalan national consciousness. It is danced by men and women who join hands alternately in a closed circle.

GEGANTS The Giants are figures consisting in big dolls of wood and cardboard of great proportions. The origin is uncertain, and it has tradition in several European countries.
