New Accountability Measures 2016 onwards No more 5A*-C including English & Mathematics Progress 8 – every child, every grade. Attainment 8 English & Mathematics – Required for progression TWI

New Grading System 9-1 Replaces A*-G Grade 5 is a ‘good pass’ Higher standard (Old High Grade C/ Low B) TWI

End of Year Target (GCSE grade 9-1) A Note on Targets and Flightpaths… Loreto High School have re-designed our target setting process and now use GCSE Grades across Years 7-11. Based on KS2 and DfE guidance Flight paths = steps to success Flightpaths will differ depending on whether the subject has been studied at KS2. Example: A child with a 5b on entry should achieve a Grade 7 in Year 11 TWI Key Stage 2 End of Year Target (GCSE grade 9-1) Y7 Y8 Y9 Y10 Y11 5b 3- 4- 5 6 7
