Gather and report accurate CTE data WHO should participate in the process? WHAT do you need to do? WHEN should this be done? WHERE do we get resources? WHY is this important?

Calendar Activities throughout the year Winter-Spring Monitor data in current school year and prep for year-end reporting CERTIFY EOY CALPADS – CTE CERTIFY EOY CALPADS – Course section completion Determine curriculum changes for next year – communicate the plan Begin scheduling process for next year

Schedule pure cohorts of students Courses Update annually to reflect changes to CALPADS codes Master Schedule Determine if students are to be cohorted and ascertain the sections are correctly set up Students Be sure students are appropriately scheduled so they will be counted as CTE participants and concentrators 👪

Some suggestions for cohorts Master Schedule process - include site administrators and counselors Keep sections pure for accountability Unique Course and Section attributes Create separate course codes Consider ‘Alphabet Soup’ course codes Use team and house functionality in SIS scheduler 👪
