INTRODUCTION TO PHYSICS

In order to obtain the answers to the following, knowledge of Physics is necessary Why is the sky blue? Is it possible to boil water without heat energy? How do we make our cars more efficient? How do you determine the distance of a lightning bolt? How does noise-canceling headphones work? Why do I get zapped with static electricity? Is there a way to make work easier?

PHYSICS is the study of energy and energy transformations and the relationships between matter and energy.

MODELS OF ACTUAL OBJECTS is a device or procedure which shares important properties with the original object or concept. MODELS OF ACTUAL OBJECTS

LIMITATIONS OF MODEL Models can help us organize our thinking. Models also have limitations: experiment is the final judge.
