Neptune’s orbit length is 4,504,000,000 Km.

Neptune’s diameter is 49,532 Km.

The minimum and maximum surface of Neptune is below -220c.

There have not been any visitors on Neptune because human cannot live on Neptune.

Neptune’s satellites are Naiad, Thalassa, Despina, Larissa, Triton, Galatea, Proteus, Neried, Halimede, Sao, Laomedeia, Psamathe, and Neso. Neptune also has 13 unknown moons; named moons and Triton plus four discovered 2002 and one discovered in 2003.

Neptune has rings that have been given names called Adam, 2 named Liberty, 3 named Equality and Fratern. Also Neptune has an unnamed ring called called Co-ity orbital with Galatea then Leuerrier.

A day on Neptune is 9.1 hours and 164.8 years.

Neptune’s composition is probably similar to Uranus;various “ices” and rock with about 15% hydrogen and little helium.

Neptune’s color/texture is blue Neptune’s color/texture is blue. Neptune’s prominent feature was the Great Dark Spot.

Interesting Facts Neptune is the eighth planet from the Sun and is light blue.Neptune is a big ball of gasses and clouds. Neptune is almost 4 times wider than Earth. At least 11 moons move around Neptune. Most of the moons are icy chunks of rock. Neptune’s largest moon is Triton.

. Neptune is the eighth planet from the Sun. Also, Neptune is smaller in diameter but larger in mass than Uranus.
