Elizabeth Blackwell was the first woman doctor Elizabeth Blackwell was the first woman doctor. I chose her because I believe she showed good perseverance , and because I am considering becoming a doctor when I grow up.

Dear, Diary Dear, Diary Today father decided to move us to America, he hopes to continue his sugar company there. I just dislike how he moves us from place to place and never stay there for long, maybe our new home will be different.

FIRST WOMAN DOCTOR! As Elizabeth Blackwell graduated she became the first woman doctor. Many still think her crazy, but she is obviously sane enough to be a doctor. Graduated from Geneva Medical School at top of her class. She was banned from practicing in most hospitals so is now moving to Paris to study more there.
