Intercepts Y-Intercept= -746.8, this intercept would mean that the minimum wage would be $-746.8 when the year is 0. This is not realistic because you cannot earn a negative amount of money. X-Intercept= 1991.47, this means that the year would be 1991.47 for the minimum wage amount to be $0. This isn’t very realistic because people were earning minimum wage in 1991.

prediction Using the equation, we predict that in the year 2080, the minimum wage will be $33. That would be a lot! Our R-squared value was pretty high, so it might happen!
