My Teaching Philosophy Students have the right to an environment that is safe, nurturing, and which provides them with the best possible chance for success. Students have the right to curriculum that is tailored to their needs and interests. I have the responsibility to determine the needs of students and provide appropriate instruction. Students have the responsibility to work hard, do their best, behave appropriately, and never give up. All members of our classroom community have the responsibility to work together to establish and maintain an environment that promotes academic, social and emotional growth Parents are encouraged to become active participants in the classroom community through volunteering, encouraging their student to do his/her best, and communicating with me through email, telephone or other means.
