Nestle Workspace Guidelines Improve business processes & Innovation (agility) Create space for the task vs the functional group Enable innovation & communication Inspire through a great Workplace (attract, retain, motivate) Keep staff’s satisfaction on a high level Be attractive for young talents and high potentials Enable key Nestlé Group organization initiatives Mix of various work spaces Flexible work arrangements Increase space efficiency and flexibility (cost) Minimize workspace costs/vacancy by providing the right mix of work and support spaces Easy to change/adapt to new needs

Workspace Re-Design Principles Spaces are attributed to activities and not individuals to create an environment where focus & collaboration coexist Principle 2: Designated space is attributed to special functions only (Executive Assistants/Legal/Facilities) or specific teams (Supply Chain). Directionally 1/3 of the workstations should be fixed vs. mobile. Principle 3: A significant minority of employees on any given day are not on site or in the building attending meetings therefore “non-allocated desks” concept should be considered. Directionally 2/3 of the workstations should be mobile vs. fixed.

Future State Vision Open Space Workstations Telco Booths home base for teams, surrounded by support areas: unassigned or assigned seating, uniformed, neutral atmosphere, desk grouping, central recycling system Telco Booths scattered over the floor for concentrated work or long phone calls: closed off, for focused work, possible meeting rooms for one to ones Small & Medium Meeting rooms are for 3-8 persons: close to teams and scattered throughout the floors, white boards, TV screens, flip charts Large/Smart Meeting Rooms equipped with video conferencing: enclosed space, 8+ persons, smart boards and interactive tools, for project work and knowledge sharing, can be booked Silent Area for focused work and working on confidential documentation: high partitions, cozy furniture, no phone lines

Future State Vision Touch Downs Common Multipurpose space central to all areas, promoting interaction and collaborations: monitors, meeting booths Common Multipurpose space informal conversations, for meetings, lunches, open area, centralized trash system, floor sanitation, pantry with fridge/microwave, coffee machines, town hall style Print Centers in the open space area, with storage for stationary: printer, shredder, storage, mail slots Coat Closets & Personal Lockers Per neighbourhood to match the number of workstations, close to teams or common areas NCE (Nestle Continuous Excellence) Communication Centers Mixture of smart boards and white boards (magnetic/multi stacked) per neighbourhood to support operational reviews Reception on 22nd floor
