Enfield Schools – Distance from your home is important The furthest distance the LA offered places for admission in September 2016 on national offer day was ARK John Keats - 0.625 miles Chace Community - 1.247 miles Edmonton County - 1.432 miles Heron Hall – 2.033 miles Highlands - 0.952 miles Kingsmead -1.275 miles Southgate - 2.293 miles Winchmore - 1.019 miles
Things to remember… Visit all the schools you are interested in, especially those in your local area. Talk to local parents Look at the written information, including the schools’ prospectus, pattern of admissions in previous years and also the admissions rules. Distance counts for many schools and will often be a deciding factor Be realistic- include one local school! Available September 2016
For school outside Enfield - look at that Local authority’s website for details e.g Hertfordshire Check if you need to complete a supplementary information form Complete all applications in full Naming only one school or the same school six times will not improve your chance of getting a place!
