“I thoroughly enjoyed being my child's teacher and taking such a big role in her education.” SOC 4th Grade IS Parent

“Even though we came to IS late in the year, we felt very welcomed by everyone. Support was always available in person, phone or email.” Chino 3rd Grade IS Parent

“Before we decided to attempt IS, I thought 'absolutely not “Before we decided to attempt IS, I thought 'absolutely not.' I went to the Instructional Meeting and found out that it just might work for our family. We gave it a try, and we ended up loving the program! While we hope to get into the full-time program, IS is a great way to make the transition into the full-time program....same rigorous standards and excellent non-core classes. My family enjoyed the flexibility, and my kids were able to still feel a part of the OPA family. I would highly recommend the program to anyone considering it. Just be prepared to work hard with your kids, and be prepared to love spending the extra time with them! This program definitely brought us closer as a family, and I truly enjoyed teaching my children. It was amazing to see the progress they made, and I feel so honored to have been a part of their academic education!” Chino 3rd & 6th Grade IS Parent

“Very caring staff...expressed real concern to give the students the very best academic environment, while demonstrating how fun it is to learn.” Chino 2nd Grade IS Parent

“Coming from a private school, we were a little skeptical of what OPA could do for our kids. We quickly became fans of Mrs. Roche and the way she, along with her staff, have designed the learning system, classes and programs. We receive more at OPA than we ever did at Private School.” Chino 2nd Grade IS Parent

“OPA's IS has allowed me the opportunity to watch my daughter learn and grow first-hand while also exposing her to new and enriching experiences through classes like science lab, martial arts, and foreign language.” Chino 2nd Grade IS Parent

“This program made me fall in love with parenting “This program made me fall in love with parenting. I have never enjoyed spending so much time with all 4 of my kids!” Chino 1st Grade IS Parent

“Signing up for OPA's IS program was a scary but great step I have made. Being my son's own teacher has been a fulfilling experience on many levels, plus the IS workshops and non-core classes have added plenty of opportunities for Jack to socialize. OPA provides a quality IS program, which is clearly set out and easy to follow. It's been so interesting to have a real insight into Jack's academic life and I feel very lucky for spending all this extra time with him. The IS program has given me the flexibility to customize the instructions to meet Jack's needs, which in return has given Jack a well rounded education. Thank you OPA.” SOC 4th Grade IS Parent

“I am so grateful to be a part of such a great program “I am so grateful to be a part of such a great program. My children wake up so happy and grateful that we are able to learn from home. I highly recommend the program to families interested in Independent Study.” Chino 1st Grade IS Parent

“The best part of being in the IS Program is spending a lot of one-on-one time with my son.” SOC 4th Grade IS Parent

“We love the flexibility to home school while we travel.” Chino 4th Grade IS Parent

“Our family's experience was positive “Our family's experience was positive. We were in Level 2 IS and really enjoyed it. My son enjoyed being in class and having extra time at home on Thursday and Friday. He is involved in sports and this school schedule worked out great. It was a blessing for our family to have this special time with our child to work together on school work.” SOC 4th Grade IS Parent

“OPA's IS Program has allowed my daughter to receive high quality education with the one-on-one attention not offered in traditional classroom settings.” Chino 4th Grade IS Parent

“The program is very carefully designed “The program is very carefully designed. It is very easy to follow and covers all the subjects properly. Enjoyed it!” SOC 4th Grade IS Parent

“My child and I loved the IS Program “My child and I loved the IS Program. I was very happy with the books and materials provided to us. I liked how we could try different ways to have our children learn different concepts.” SOC 4th Grade IS Parent

“Our friends are amazed at the quality and consistency of our son's education, even when we are in Italy.” Chino 3rd Grade IS Parent

“OPA's IS Program is rigorous, but SO worth it when I see how happy my child is, how well she is writing, and most importantly, how she loves to learn.” SOC 2nd Grade IS Parent

“We were really impressed to see the amount of hard work and efficiency the school staff put in to make this program a success.” SOC 3rd Grade IS Parent

“What a great program for any family looking to homeschool “What a great program for any family looking to homeschool. OPA offers amazing flexibility while providing a well-rounded education, including a wide variety of enriching non-core classes.” SOC 3rd Grade IS Parent

“OPA's IS Program provides the opportunity for your child to excel in his/her area of interest.” Chino 2nd Grade IS Parent

“OPA's IS is a great program. It far exceeded our expectations.” SOC 3rd Grade IS Parent

“The IS program was an amazing and rewarding experience for our entire family. When we as parents thought it was too hard, the support and encouragement by the staff was there to boost us up. Every family should experience this program.” SOC 3rd Grade IS Parent

“OPA's IS program allowed my daughter to grow as an independent and confident learner.” SOC 5th Grade IS Parent

“Not for the faint hearted :) “Not for the faint hearted :). This is not just a “fill in the blank” online type program. It is a full-time academically challenging, educational experience. One must be prepared to fulfill this commitment to their child's education. The reward is in the learning and growth you see in your child, and satisfaction of knowing that you played a big part in helping him/her achieve.” SOC 5th Grade IS Parent

“Oxford Prep is an excellent school, and we are very grateful that our child can have a combined home-school and in-school experience here!” SOC Kindergarten IS Parent
