Value Add of Appleton Staff Value of Training*:                         $212,325 Increased Productivity**:           $360,000 Total Value Add for Instructional Related Positions:       $572,325 (Over 3 Years)   * Based on 95 aides receiving an average of 2.5 days of training each year for three years. Each half day training unit is calculated at $149 per unit per person.  ** We quantified the impact of better management and training on employee productivity based on industry best practices.   After further analysis of existing practices, we feel that a 10% improvement in productivity under Appleton management is very realistic.  Therefore, for each $100,000 of expenditures under the prior contract holder, the school system will achieve an increase in productivity valued at $10K.  If approximately $1.2M was spent under the previous contract holder on instructional related positions, the potential increased productivity value by implementation of our program management and training programs being brought in on the same contract value over three years is calculated at $360,000 (or 10% of $1.2M x 3).
