frequency adverbs & time period we normally use the present simple to talk about habits and routines. We usually say the frequency of the habit or routine. In other words, we say how often we do something. Example:- 1 - I sometimes go shopping on Thursday morning. 2 - She always visits her family on Monday.

The following list shows the most common adverbs of frequency, with the one that refers to things that happen most often at the top, and least often at the bottom: Always 100% Usually 90% Often 50% Sometimes 50% Never 0%

Sometimes and usually can also come at the begining or the end of a sentence. 1 - I usually have toast for breakfast. Usually I have toast for breakfast.
