Round Table Blood Donation Campaign 14th March 2016

Blood Donation Blood donation is a voluntary procedure. You agree to have blood drawn so that it can be given to someone who needs a blood transfusion Millions of people need blood transfusion each year

What we have done in Nepal in 2015? 14th March 2015 Nepal – Blood Donation Campaign under Round Table Nepal Banner 4 cities 418 pints of blood 280 members

Concept Blood Donation Campaign to celebrate Round Table Day – 14th March Why is it different? Create Large Scale Mass Awareness on blood donation – who, why, what? Give platform to promote Round Table as a brand High Mileage with minimum investment Coverage 53 Countries. 2279 Tables. 30483 members.

Planned geography

Working plan Blood Donation Campaign will be under the national banner of the participating countries All communications and promotion will share one common master design with minimum required local adaption Identify Cities and blood collecting points in cities Identify national and city coordinators Tie with local Red Cross STOP all blood donation campaigns led by Round Table from 14th December 2015 onwards in all the participating Countries Synchronized promotion with one calendar Collection of Blood, updates, handover to red cross

Time Line 15th Jan 2016 15th Feb 2015 14th March 2015 Confirmation from all participating Nations on the following– Tablers informed and roped in Cities identified and confirmed Collection venues in each city identified Coordinating team for each city formed In each City tie up with – Red Cross or Similar Body completed Sponsors roped in Tentative Confirmed blood donors list is made Tentative Collection forecasted Media informed. Event Day: Venue Set with branding & Messages Blood Collected and handed over the partner (Red Cross or Similar) Refreshment to donors Photos taken and updated Collection Report shared Update on FB Press informed MID Jan – “BOOK YOUR DATE” promotions Start on Social Media - FB, Whatsapp message, Mailer and budget permitting on newspaper ad . Event promotions are put up at member organizations.

Confirmation of plan by Associations (by 15th Jan 2016) 1. Participating Cities 2. Number of participating tables in each cities 3. Expected number of donors & collection 3. Tie up with Red Cross or similar bodies 4. Sponsors roped in
