TPM 7.1 Installer - Feature overview support deploying TPM 7.1 on Tivoli Process Automation Platform (TPAP) where it can integrate with other TPAP products (CCMDB, SRM, EAM, TAMit) align with Tivoli Installation Strategy deploy TPM 7.1 on new middleware level (WAS ND 6.1, DB2 9.1, ITDS 6.1, LWI 7.1.1) support installation of new components such as: TPMfOSD, TPM-ITM agent, DB2 client add virtual IP support provide support for 64 bit TPM on Windows 2003, AIX 5.3 replace CDs with DVDs for production images add MSAD support from the UNIX TPM server continue to provide a Default Installer Tivoli Provisioning Manager 7.1

TPM 7.1 Installer – Components Installers In order to install TPM 7.1 multiple installers will be provided having a launchpad as a consolidation point. Middleware (MWI) installer - used to install & configure the middleware. DB2 Server 9.1 FP4, WAS ND 6.1 FP13, WAS Server Plugins, IBM Http Server, ITDS 6.1, RAC 7.0.3 will be installed and configured. Maximo Base Services (MBS) installer - used to lay down the Maximo base tooling and PSI, and deploy the Maximo base services and common PMP using PSI. Process Solution Install (PSI) installer - used to deploy the TPM PMPs Language Pack installer - used to deploy additional language packs for Maximo. Tivoli Provisioning Manager 7.1

TPM 7.1 Installer – Components Installers Continued TPM Wrapper Installer used for installing the TPM core components: TPM engines and runtime, SDI management servers (CAS, DCD, DMS), TPMfOSD, TPM-ITM agent, DB2 client, perform registration of TPM with AM, create WAS profile for CAS, perform SSL configuration. the Wrapper Installer will call silently all components installers and will perform the configuration steps required. TPM Default Installer Will install TPM by using default values for almost all the required fields. To be used for POCs and Demos; available on windows 2003 beside the installation and configuration steps performed by the Wrapper Installer it will also deploy the required middleware as well as the Maximo base services and the TPM PMPs.
