Reading We will be working all year to strengthen our fluency, decoding, and comprehension ability. Guided Reading Reading Workshop Daily 3 Common Core Standards http://www.corestandards.org/ELA-Literacy/
Math Place value, multiplication, expressions, dividing whole numbers, decimals, adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators, multiplying and dividing fractions, algebra: patterns and graphing, and converting units of measure will all be introduced. Homework Homework is assigned 4-5 per week. It is expected back the next day unless otherwise noted. A pink slip will be given if homework is not returned. Daily Homework Read 30 Minutes Spelling/Vocabulary Math Facts
Report Cards Report cards will go home quarterly. Students will be assessed in all subject areas. Grading Scale: 90%-100% A 80% - 89% B 70% - 79% C 60% - 69% D 50% - 59% F (Not Passing)
Assignment Notebooks Assignment notebooks will be filled out everyday. No signature or record of reading minutes is required unless requested or necessary.
