Job 1:1-3 1 There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil. 2 And seven sons and three daughters were born to him.

Job 1:1-3 CONTINUED 3 Also, his possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very large household, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the East.

Job 1:8 8 Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”

Job 1:22 22 In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.

4 Stages of Maturity:

1.  “Give Me”

Luke 15:12 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’

2.  “Use Me”

Acts 8:19 19 …“Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”

3.  “Search Me”

Luke 15:17 17 “But when he came to himself…”

You will never mature in your relationship with Christ as long as you are blaming someone else for your situation.

Psalm 139:23-24 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my thoughts; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me

4.  “Make Me”
