A Current Controlled Meminductor Modelling R.Vetriveeran, Maheshwar Pd. Sah, and Hyongsuk Kim Division of Electronics and Information Engineering, Chonbuk National University, Jeonju, 561-756, Korea (Tel : +82-63-270-2477; E-mail: vetriece86@gmail.com , maheshwarsah@jbnu.ac.kr, hskim@jbnu.ac.kr) Abstract Memristor, memcapacitor and meminductor are the promising circuit elements with the potential of bringing significant changes in the field of new memory in nano-electronic devices. This paper presents a simple model of a meminductor whose inductance can be varied by an external current source without employing any memrisitve system. The adequate of this model is verified by its fingerprints characteristics. Basic Advantages A simple model for meminductor. A simple solution to investigate and construct meminductor emulator. It is simple and inexpensive. Meminductor Emulator Proposed Meminductor Emulator Proposed Meminductor Model The relationship between input current iin and flux φ generated across inductor Ls is given as: (a) where, (b) (a) Input inductance as a function of voltage v+. (b) Equivalent circuit. (a) Proposed meminductor emulator circuit. (b) Symbol of the meminductor.
