Our millwrights have been trained on everything they are asked to do on a jobsite. The curriculum our apprentices receive is always evolving to meet the needs and challenges our contractors and new technologies demand.

Our qualified specialists are trained in the latest products and techniques in everything from optical alignment to welding.

Apprenticeship training for a Union Millwright includes: 4 calendar years of training 500-plus school hours 6,000-plus jobsite hours WI and MN different Wi - 520 school hours 6,240 jobsite hours

Courses include: Math Precision optics Machinery alignment Conveyors Machinery installation Pump repair Welding and Rigging . . .Just to name a few! Not 160 hours welding in WI (this page: apprentices)put welding and rigging below

We offer supervisor training to our Union Millwrights, which includes: Planning and scheduling Contracts and negotiations Cost control

We train our project supervisors in the techniques of: Motivation Effective communication Problem-solving Leadership At UBC?

We will offer your UBC personnel access to any training offered at our training centers, including journey-level upgrade courses and skill enhancement training. All of our available training is at no cost to you, our valued contractor. UBC personnel…

The Regional Council invests $4 million annually in training our Union millwrights.

We have a highly skilled, professional and mobile workforce, when you want them and for as long as you want them. We offer continuous training to ensure comprehensive understanding of the evolving construction industry.

We think safety is so important that we will provide safety training to all of your employees.
