Why to be Eco-Friendly: The cars that are not ecofriendly effected 23% of global warming, environmental degradation, health implications and emission of greenhouse gases from the burning of fossil fuels, that’s why we want to devise policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as well as oil demands. 90% of the transportation is relies on oil. The obvious solution f this is greening of the transport sector. To not use vehicles that give toxic gases that could ruin the environment and human health, so you should use ecofriendly vehicles that do not damage the environment health and humans, which are electric cars this way your make a healthier choice. Eco friendly vehicle use reusable sources of energy such as wind, solar, biofuels and hydroelectricity.

Simple Solutions: We as a team decided to commit to a local project, something you can do to help in your everyday life. Something super simple is going on a ride with your friends. When you make a compromise such as taking the bus or carpooling it would actually benefit the environment and give you extra time to hang out with your friends and/or family. Transit ??? de Taking the bus is actually quite simple, it can be done in 3 steps; Buy/get a compass card which pays for each ride Pre load your card so you can travel anywhere anytime Enjoy your new transportation system on the Eco- friendly bus! `Taking the bus is actually one of the simplest and most efficient ways to reduce your carbon foot print. We have taken so long to realize how climate change is affecting our planet that changing our lightbulbs is only dipping a toe in the pool when we NEED to dive in.Transportation is the single biggest cause for creating more carbon dioxide in the country. 80% of which is cars; driving to work, from work, to the grocery store, to school (and back) and many more are some reasons we decide to use our cars so excessively. One of the ways to lower this percentage is taking the bus or carpooling. They both limit it to one full car instead of two ½ filled cars. king the bus is actually quite simple, it can be one in 3 steps; Enjoy your new transportation system on the Eco-friendly bus!

Carpooling? Like we mentioned in our last slide Carpooling is an option as well. Taking one car instead of two or three can actually save a lot of fuel gas and help the planet all in one. You get the joy and experience of a full car which isn’t that bad and you can spend more time with your friends and family on your ride to school, soccer, dance etc. This Photo by Unknown Author is licensed under CC BY-NC-ND

Walking Or Biking? Walking and biking is one of the simplest ways to reduce your carbon footprint. All you have to do is choose to take your bike or walk to your destination. If you are walking somewhere like your school or biking you are slowly reducing your carbon footprint. This Photo by Unknown Author is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA

Electric cars Vs. Fueled cars??? Not only are electric vehicles easier and cheaper to maintain, they are also more efficient than the gasoline engine which means that it’s cheaper to operate. From the outside, the electric vehicle looks like a gasoline-powered vehicle except the electric vehicle does not have a tail pipe. Internally, it is very different. The electric vehicle has several unique components that serve the same function as the more common components in a gasoline-powered vehicle. Another significant difference between electric vehicles and gasoline-powered vehicles is the number of moving parts. The electric vehicle has one moving part, the motor, whereas the gasoline-powered vehicle has hundreds of moving parts. Fewer moving parts in the electric vehicle leads to another important difference. The electric vehicle requires less maintenance and is more reliable. The gasoline- powered vehicle requires a wide range of maintenance, from frequent oil changes to filter replacements. So as you can see if you weren’t convinced before these comparisons are a great way to show how electrical cars are a lot better for our environment.

What is our goal? As a team we wanted to find a simple and easy solution you could achieve in our every day lives and this is it. We’ve all already heard about how to travel eco-friendly but not very many of us actually take it seriously. If everyone in our school carpooled and took the bus for one week that weeks CO2 emissions would be cut in half no doubts. With such a big difference in a week how could it affect us over a month, or a year? We know the outcome so why not actually try carpooling and see how fun it is, or explore on the bus with some friends, maybe go on a bike ride or walk to the grocery store… what could we change?
