Why Does Web 2.0 Matter? The new course home experience will encourage student interaction and strengthen the online community experience: - Creates a Student Centric experience where the information in the new view is displayed and tailored to what is relevant and important to that user.  (For example, a list of items that are due or a notification that someone has responded to my thread.)  Each student has a unique experience and it is one that changes over time as new actions take place inside their course. - Brings activity to the top in order to increase participation in the course and interaction between users by pulling the key activities to the front (i.e. activity in threads, new document posts, user alerts, etc).  The course feed of new and upcoming activities tells them right away what’s new and what they should focus on.
