THE NIGHT HOWLER ADVENTURE SERIES TONE DEAF! Written by Emma

THE NIGHT HOWLER BACK STORY There was a species of alien mosquitoes looking for a new planet to infest. They were interested in colonizing earth, and sent a single mosquito scout and spy out the land. The first creature it saw was a wandering lone wolf. It landed and bit the wolf in the paw. Unknowingly it transferred a radioactive itch to the wolf. The mosquito flew back to its headquarters and suggested they not take over earth due to all global warming. That same night there was a party in the Maillard neighbourhood and William Thompson, a good-natured grade 7 student, was invited to go. He was having plenty of fun listening to music with headphones on and dancing with his eyes closed. Everyone thought it’d be funny to sneak out to the park while William was dancing with his eyes closed, so they did! When William finally opened his eyes, everyone was gone! How embarrassing! He decided to head home, a little sad and dejected.

THE NIGHT HOWLER BACK STORY On his way home he decided to take a short cut through the ravine. Unfortunately was so focused on his music still, he slipped and fell down to the bottom. But that was where the infected wolf was taking a drink from the stream. As William crash landed at the bottom, he bumped into the wolf. As any wolf would, it turned and bit William in the arm. Ouch! His scream scared off the wolf, but that’s when it happened. He took on super powers from the alien mosquito infected wolf. His body started to change into being a two- legged half-wolf, and now he had the super powers of wolf strength, wolf agility, and super dancing.

THE NIGHT HOWLER BACK STORY William turned off his music and his body miraculously turned back to being a normal 12 year old boy again. Strange. He hoped he was dreaming this all up. William put his headphones back on and turned on the music as he walked home. He turned back into the human-wolf form again! He realized the powers emerged when he listened to music with his headphones. He made it home and kept it a secret from his friends and family. Legend has it that William still lives in the area and goes by his superhero name of Night Howler when people are in need. He never wants anyone to feel lonely, left out, or embarrassed like he did that night he left the party by himself.

We all know the backstory of our hero, William Thompson, AKA the Night Howler…so let’s begin this adventure called… TONE DEAF!

William’s little sister has a talent show contest, and his little sister has been waiting for this for three years! She asked him if he could come to the talent show, and of course he said yes! The sister jumped with joy while hugging her older brother. But the one thing that he forgot is that he can’t listen to music! He thought to himself of how he could go without turning into the NIGHT HOWLER. But luckily a couple days before he turned into the NIGHT HOWLER, his dad got some earplugs so he could mow the lawn.

As there going to the talent show, the sister hears her favorite song on the radio and turned it louder. Oh no! William thought, he looked at his arm, the hairs were growing, he touched his ears, which was now on the top of his furry head. He was turning into the NIGHT HOWLER! What should he do?!? Rummage through his bag at try and find earplugs Jump in front and turn off music

William jumps over and turns the music off, his sister looked at him as if he just killed their dog. she said to him, just a little pointer William, NEVER turn off a girls favorite song, luckily after he turned the music off he turn back into himself immediately. The sister turns back to the front and tries to turn the music back on, but luckily they arrived at the talent show before his sister could do anymore damage.

William turns to his bag beside him, looking for those ear plugs that he threw in his bag. His hair was growing, his ear were now on the top of his head! He couldn’t find the earplugs, but then a screech noise came from outside. He looked to the left of him, saw nothing, but then he looked up and saw this weird looking blue thing in the sky! William looked frightened,( or should I say  the NIGHTHOWLER ) as the blue thing in the sky pulls out an un-tuned guitar and played so loud that the NIGHTHOWLER turned back into William. His mom and sister looked so frightened, William knew what he had to do. He took out his headphones and played his music. He turned into the NIGHTHOWLER.  Us his super climbing claws to climb up wall to go see what the blue thing was in the sky Run over and wait till he comes down

Go back to previous page Then he ran over and waited till he came down, but it was too late the guy used his guitar and destroyed the whole town. The NIGHTHOWLER got everyone out of the town including himself but they were never safe again. Go back to previous page

William how could you! Give me back my queen so we He used his super climbing claws to go up a tall building so he could see the weird blue thing in the sky. When he got to the top he saw a guy with the initials TD (whatever that means) in the middle of his chest. William was about to walk away but then he see’s a girl in his arms! Its his sister, William was mad. William ran and jumped with all of his might, heading straight for “TD.” William hit “TD” straight out of the sky. William, “TD” and his sister all falling down but luckily William caught his sister before they would hit the ground. When they all got up, the “TD” gave the stink eye to William as he was getting up. William was standing there as his sister was cuddled against his legs. William growled at “TD.” “TD” said to William how could you! Give me back my queen so we Destroy this world together. William said to this Mysterious person what your name, the guy said my name Is TONE DEAF and you will rue the day that you hit me out Of the sky. What should willaim do? Scratch him Bite him

William scratched him across the face, Tone deaf took out his guitar and blasted the loud un-tuned noise at him William making him slide back, William told his sister to go, his sister ran into an scary(but safe)alley way. William jumped at him and pinned him to the ground, his sister called the copes and “TONE DEAF.” everyone thanked William for saving them and there town. The End Go back to beginning
