Miscellaneous School Rules First Aid All CCSD rules apply for the entire time you are gone and discipline handled by admin upon return. This is an excused absence from school BUT you should speak to your teachers about missing prior to departure so you know the expectations coming back on Monday. No drugs, alcohol, stay in assigned area, etc. Hotel Etiquette – stay in rooms once checked in for the night, keep voices down and respectful to other guests You represent Pope High School – don’t do anything that may jeopardize our ability to attend in the future! Opening & Closing ceremonies, IE’s, Improv IE’s & IMPROV Competition We start and end our conference highlighting all things Thescon. We have assigned seats for this show at the Bill Heard Auditorium. The Opening Ceremonies is a performance of students from throughout the state. Closing Ceremonies are a combination of the winning IE’s, awards and scholarships. IE’s are Individual Events – students compete in these events by signing up in advance. Students may go watch in lieu of a show or workshop. You only can enter during a certain window, seats are limited, and no talking is allowed. Improv Competition – The improv troupe is divided up with other improv students to compete in a multi-round competition. You can go watch this as well.

HUG CLIPS Students exchange these “clips” (clothes pins) with other troupes. Students make these on their own, but typically will include Pope Thespian Troupe #4448 on them

HAVE FUN!
