Rooster CSI How to use the App

Survey List Screen Choose your survey by pressing the blue +

Survey Sections Overview Your survey form will open up and you will see the survey sections. Pressing on them will open them up. Don’t forget to scroll down because all of the sections might not fit on the screen. You can scroll by swiping your finger up and down on the screen.

Survey Section Screen Lets open up the Dispensers section Required questions are in red while other questions are in grey. Some questions create more groups such as this question.

Survey Section Screen Lets say we have 4 dispensers. 4 green dispenser sub-sections will appear. These all have their own set of questions. The sub-section names will be different depending on the group question asked. If it’s asking about canopy sides, the sub-sections will be Canopy side 1, Canopy side 2, etc…

Survey Sub-Section Screen This is what we see when we open up the dispenser sub-section. To take a photo you press the grey photo icon. Remember that some sections have too many questions to fit on the screen. You will know when you hit the bottom of the page when you see the “Other comments” question which is at the end of every section.

Survey Information Tab Some questions and sections have more detailed information or example photos. To see this information you press the information button.

Survey Information Tab You will then see more detailed information or example photos/diagrams such as this. To go back or exit out you press the back button on the bottom right corner of the tablet. Your icon will look like this:

Survey Section Screen When a subsection is completed you will get a green checkmark box.

Measurements Measurements are broken down into 3 categories. Feet, inches and fractions. If you measured the distance in inches you will have to convert it to feet and inches to input it. Fractions are accessed by pressing the 3rd bar.

Measurements When the fractions bar is pressed the fraction selection window will appear. Not all of the fractions can fit on the screen so you will need to scroll down to see the rest.

Sections that don’t apply to your site Some sections won’t apply to your site. If you are surveying a Phillips 66 Shield site you won’t have to fully answer all of the 76 Wave questions. You still have to visit each section to answer at least the first question in order to get a green checkmark box. The first question in these variable sections asks if the section applies to you.

Completing Sections Once all of the red required questions are filled out in a section, you will get a green checkmark. Some of the sections only have the first question as required but you still want to answer all of the questions if they apply to you. Just remember to scroll down to the bottom of each section you are filling out until you hit the “Other comments” question.

Submitting Surveys After all of the sections in a survey are completed and have green checkmarks you will see the blue text: “Ready to Submit” on the main page. The “Submit Survey Data” button will appear at the bottom when you are ready to submit.

Submitting Surveys After you press the Submit Surveys button you will immediately see the response of “Uploading survey responses…”

Submitting Surveys You will then see the progress of the photos being uploaded.

Submitting Surveys After submission you will see the text: “Submitted – Not Reviewed” We can then see your information online and it will change to “Completed” after we review it. We can also request a resubmission if the picture did not come through or you need to update your survey.

App Troubleshooting If you think you are ready to submit but you still see your survey marked as “in progress” you might have missed a section or question. Don’t forget that all of the questions can’t fit on the page and you have to scroll down for most of the sections. If you have any questions please call 317-527-0686 and I will troubleshoot your tablet with you.
