Benefit of PAS with ETSI SmartM2M As HGI is concluding its work in June 2016, this will allow to retain the HGI publications in a secure stable place, to allow to be referenced and consulted Allow potential maintenance of the specifications Main HGI publications will be transferred in ETSI Smart M2M (on side of expansion of the work in oneM2M where ETSI is a partner type 1 ) HGI will benefit from the recognized ETSI European Standards Organization status The HGI PAS TS will be part of a portfolio of over 37 000 renowned standards © ETSI 2016. How it works – The process HGI is already an ETSI partner (a Co-operation Agreement was already signed) The ETSI-HGI Cooperation Agreement was upgraded with a PAS Supplement approved by the ETSI Board ETSI TC SmartM2M volunteered for hosting the HGI PAS The HGI documents will be processed following the normal ETSI procedures until their publication as ETSI PAS TS. © ETSI 2016.
