Planning Mode SFS - Airline Authorization Limited access to import and maintain airline specific SFS No access to other airlines’ schedule Recommended to centralize resource planning on the airport level (Templates) Create day process (for one airline or all) should be controlled by the airport users
Planning Mode SFS - Compare Airline Versions Compares Seasonal Flight Schedule of airlines Lists the differences by flight Provides the ability to print the result Improved by adding “Ignore Periods” option
RMS Configuration Bar Element Rules Provide the ability to define which flight attributes should be displayed on the allocation bars Different displays for each allocation types Multiple texts and background colors available Multiple rules can be defined and assigned different priorities Ability to define different rules for different resources
RMS Configuration Equipment Allowed Rules User friendly way to enter single rules It uses a so called ‘Bingo Chart’ where the user can select the aircrafts which fit on a specific spot Green means the aircraft fits Yellow means the aircraft physically fits yet it is not desired (preferential rules) Red means the aircraft does not physically fit
RMS Configuration Dependency Rules Provide the ability to define dependencies between resources of different types The dependency rules work in operational mode as well as in planning mode (SFS, Templates) Business rules can still be used to define dependencies
Operational Flight Schedule “Build Turn” Improvement Provides the ability to swap aircrafts within one transaction Use system parameter to automatically build turns based on aircraft registration
Operational Flight Schedule “Aircraft on the ground” validation Validation is configurable per system parameter When actual time is entered the system will verify that the aircraft is not already on the ground
Operational Flight Schedule Updatable registration attribute and enhanced search Registration is editable in the table Ability to use multiple search option in the find bar Use | as OR operator (e.g. AA|F9)
Operational Flight Schedule Overwrite business logic with business rules Available for account calculation Configurable as a system parameter “OpsSetAccountBy) Three possible values Airline, Aircraft and NONE NONE value setting disables the internal business logic and allows to set the account number per customer defined business rules
Operational Flight Schedule Account calculation for resource allocations Mostly relevant for multiple tows for turns with different tail numbers (Aircraft sold on the ground) First allocation receives arrival’s account number Last allocation receives departure’s account number Any allocation in between receives the account number from the previous allocation
Operational Flight Schedule Validation of account number Helpful to easily recognize charter operation Displays different background color when the account number is different than the account number assigned to the tail number (owner)
Operational Charts Moving partially active bars Possibility to drag the allocation bars when actual time is set Before moving the bar the user is required to confirm the action
Operational Charts Chart property editor Provides the ability to customized chart appearance (color, font, default color schema) Individual for each user Available in each chart
Operational Charts Resource closings editor Editor available within the chart Accessible in the context menu Closing note is displayed multiple times on the bar for visibility purposes (especially for long term closings)
Operational Charts Show alternatives Provides possible resource allocation alternatives System calculates the alternatives based on the configured conflict and preferential rules User has the option to select the resource group which should be considered for the search
Administration Authorization to change public views Provide the ability to control the changes of public views Authorization available as a user role
Administration Configuration for “OPS created” Reference data Configurable as a system parameter “OpsCreatedData” Provide the ability to control which reference data should be automatically added when not available in AODB Especially useful when flight information is received through interfaces Available for Airport, Aircraft, Airline, Aircraft Type reference data
Administration Auto process configuration (I) An additional, more user friendly option to the configuration file on the server Allows the authorized user to configure the system wide scheduled jobs, such as actual time settings for flight records (TMO, ONB, ATA, OFB, OFF) and actual times for resource allocations.
Administration Auto process configuration (II) Scheduled jobs configuration can be done Configuration file only GUI only File and GUI combined Note: Configuration in the GUI mostly useful for completion rules configuration
