Judah God gave Asa and the army of Judah a great victory They pursued the Cushites and took great bounty They also destroyed Philistine villages and took bounty from them Sheep, goats, and camels

Obedience brings blessings Judah God sent Azariah the prophet to see Asa His message was of the need to serve Jehovah Blessing would continue Obedience brings blessings

Judah 2 Chronicles 15:2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: "Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. Judah Asa continued to serve Jehovah He removed more idols from Judah He repaired the bronze altar at the temple He removed his grandmother from her position because she worshipped Asherah (female counterpart of Baal) Asa killed the ones who did not serve Jehovah

Asa’s failure Baasha set siege against Ramah Asa sought help from Ben-Hadad Hanani the prophet comes to see Asa Why did you rely on Ben-Hadad? Did the Lord not deliver you from Ethiopians? Asa angry with prophet Asa died in 41st year of reign not unlike us…

Judah Asa lead the people to serve Jehovah, but it is doubtful their heart was truly converted. It was too easy for them to soon move back to idol worship.
