Prague

Prague castle Is a castle complex in Prague, dating from the 9th century. It is the official residence of the President of the Czech Republic. A large fire in 1541 destroyed large parts of the castle. In the castle complex is St. Vitus cathedral. In spaces of Prague castle are ongoing nationals actions.

Charles bridge is a historic bridge that crosses the Vltava river Its construction started in 1357 under the reign of King Charles IV, and finished in the beginning of the 15th century. The bridge is 520 metres long and 10 metres large and it stays on 16 pillars. Statue of John Nepomuk is the most famous of all of statues on the bridge. There are two towers each at the different end of the bridge.

Petřín Petřín is a hill near by Vlatava river. On the top rides cableway, but people also can walk on top. On the hill is lookout tower. The tower is almost 64 meters high. Near the tower is mirror labyrinth.

Old Town Square Is a historic square in the Old Town quarter of Prague It is located between Wenceslas Square and the Charles Bridge. Prague Orloj is a medieval astronomical clock located on the Old Town Hall. The clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest one still in operation. The square's center is home to a statue of religious reformer Jan Hus, who for his beliefs was burned at the stake in Constance.

Kampa is a island between Vltava river and Čertovka – millstock. On Kampa are old buildings and big park. In the park is modern museum, named Sovové Mlýny. On Kampa can people go from the Charles Bridge, from Malostranské square.

Wenceslas square is one of the main city squares in Prague Wenceslas square is the centre of the business and cultural communities On this square is a lot of restaurants and shopping places. The main interest of this place is big statue on the top of square. The statue represents czech patron St. Wenceslas I.
