Green Book Outline OVERALL SYSTEM RATIONALE SCCC ENCODER DESCRIPTION ENCODER IMPLEMENTATION DECODER IMPLEMENTATION AWGN PERFORMANCE OF THE RECOMMENDED SCCC SCHEME PERFORMANCE OF THE RECOMMENDED SCHEME ON REALISTIC SCENARIOS APPLICATIONS OF SCCC BIBLIOGRAPHY

1. OVERALL SYSTEM RATIONALE This chapter describes how the SCCC coding and modulation system is embedded in the CCSDS protocol stack. SCCC IN CCSDS PROTOCOL STACK

2. SCCC ENCODER DESCRIPTION This chapter contains a detailed description of SCCC encoder, modulation sets, and achievable modes with flexible spectral efficiency. OVERVIEW INTERLEAVER CHARACTERISTICS PUNCTURING AND CODING RATE ADJUSTMENT BIT-TO-CONSTELLATION MAPPING IMPACT SPECTRAL EFFICIENCY AND SUPPORTED SET OF MODULATION AND CODING FORMATS

3. ENCODER IMPLEMENTATION This chapter describes a parallel encoder architecture suitable to achieve very large throughputs. IMPLEMENTATION PARALLEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR HIGH DATA RATES

4. DECODER IMPLEMENTATION This chapter contains a parallel iterative decoder architecture exploiting the particular encoder structure of the SCCC. The architecture allows achieving a degree of parallelism up to 120, permitting to realize very high throughputs receivers. THE SISO PROCESSOR DESCRIPTION OF THE PARALLEL ITERATIVE DECODER ARCHITECTURE READING FROM (AND WRITING INTO) THE EXTRINSIC MEMORY EVALUATION OF THE DEGREE OF PARALLELISM

5. AWGN PERFORMANCE OF THE RECOMMENDED SCCC SCHEME This chapter presents results for the AWGN channel.

6.PERFORMANCE OF THE RECOMMENDED SCCC SCHEME ON REALISTIC SCENARIOS This chapter presents results for realistic satellite scenarios. NON-LINEAR CHANNEL PHASE NOISE JITTER I/Q IMBALANCE OMUX FILTER

7. APPLICATION OF SCCC This chapter describes a link adaptation strategy exploiting the versatility offered by the SCCC scheme .
