Connections Business Councils & Groups Besides Network China, IE Singapore has also built up a number of networking platforms that our businessmen can tap on to leverage business opportunities in other regional markets. These include our business councils and groupings with Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar and Australia.

Connections USpartnerSingapore On-line, there is the recently launched USpartnerSingapore portal that will enable business tie ups between Singapore and US firms, facilitating the entry of Singapore firms into the US market, and vice versa.

Working Together Cross Border Partnerships for our firms Supporting the set up of foreign TPOs in Singapore Facilitating foreign companies based in Singapore Conclusion IE Singapore welcomes the opportunity for business matchmaking and networking between Singapore and foreign firms, and will encourage the formation of cross border partnerships between them. In addition, IE Singapore is also looking forward to working with those TPOs that have a presence in Singapore. For those not in Singapore, IE Singapore can offer structured assistance to ease the entry of TPOs wishing to set up in Singapore. At present, we have the Nordic Centre, German Centre and French Centre. While many of these centres focus on assisting their companies in doing business in Singapore, IE Singapore could help further by offering our internationalisation support to those Singapore-based foreign companies. Indeed, IE Singapore’s programmes and services are open to all companies based in Singapore, whether local or foreign. Our mission is to help Singapore based companies grow and internationalise. We see great opportunities in working with our fellow TPOs and their members to make our mission a reality.

Thank You I look forward to an exchange of views on this topic, that will result in greater co-operation on the bilateral or multilateral front with my counterparts here. Thank you for your kind attention.
